Art Club meets alternate Thursdays (except the month of November when we meet on Wednesdays due to holidays) in Room 101 of the Art Building from 2:20-3:30 PM.

Please arrange for your ride to meet you out back at the Art Building.

Hostess: Mrs. Randy Menninghaus

Philosophy/Purpose:  To provide a gathering place for students to create and make art.  All students are welcome.  This club is a blend of students in the Art program and the general school population.  We create art that is  unique and functional.  As part of Art Club, students participate in one Community Outreach program a year.  In past years,  Art Club members have helped at Art Fest Night, Empty Bowls Supper Night, hanging art around the school, and making signs for 8^th Grade Step Up Day.

Officers: Operates with a committee of 4

Past art making has included:

Paper Mache Art ( serving bowls)

Ceramics/Pottery

Greeting Cards with pop up elements

Ink wash landscapes

Art of paste paper

Holiday cards

Tye dyed tee shirts and or wrapping paper

Pskanty Wax eggs

Open art making time

Amine Art
