Alternative Spring Break
ASB members working for Habitat for Humanity in Portland ~ 2009
Alternative Spring Break is a non-profit volunteer organization that sends students on statewide service trips. Service trips include: homelessness and poverty, childhood illiteracy, health care, environmental issues, and much more. In preparation for each trip, participants meet weekly to reflect on issues relevant to their trips, to promote awareness, and to volunteer within the community. The past two years ASB has traveled to Portland, ME, to work with habitat for humanity.
