Dear Brewer Community,
I wanted to let you all know that as of June 6, I have accepted another opportunity to be the Superintendent in RSU 2. This district has been a leader in the state regarding student-centered proficiency-based education. It is also close to my family and the opportunity was one I could not pass up at this time. My last day in Brewer will be June 28, 2019
While I am looking forward to the next steps in my career and being closer to my family, I will deeply miss working with each of you. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Brewer and am especially grateful to have met each of you. Brewer has accomplished a great deal in the last four years focusing on our children and providing them opportunities to demonstrate their learning in multiple ways. Our community is lucky to have such a dedicated staff, administrative team and school committee that looks at each child as an individual providing him/her with the resources and pathway to be successful.
As the school committee and I work out additional details, I will let you know as appropriate.
Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to be your Superintendent! I have learned so much from you and wish you all the best.
