Brewer Community School

The second graders had some special visitors eariler this month to celebrate 'owl' their learning! A member of Chewonki's Traveling Natural History Program Team brought three owls and owl artifacts to second grade classrooms. The second graders shared their knowledge of owls while learning new facts and having the opportunity to see live owls which have been rescued by this program. The students also had the chance to touch artifacts such as owl skulls, wings, feathers, and talons. We would like to thank our PTU for their support of this program. It was a wonderful experience for all!
