Doyle Field

Doyle Field is located behind the Brewer Auditorium at 318 Wilson Street.

Often referred to as "Historic Doyle Field", this facility serves as the home to the Brewer Witches football program on game nights.

Doyle Field is owned, operated and maintained by the City of Brewer. Any inquiries about renting this facility should be made to the City of Brewer Parks and Recreation department.

Coffin Field

Coffin Softball Field is located behind Brewer High Schools campus at 79 Parkway South in Brewer. 

Coffin Field is named after Joe Coffin who was a major benefactor to the Brewer Softball program.

Coffin Field is the home to the Brewer High School Witches softball team. Coffin Field has serves as the host to the Maine Principals Association Eastern Maine regional softball championships as well as the State Championships for Classes B, C, and D.

Coffin Field is widely regarded as one of the best softball playing facilities in the State of Maine. The field remains in great shape due to the efforts of Brewer High Softball coach, Skip Estes and his crew of volunteer parents.

Heddericg Field

Heddericg Field is a multiuse field located just behind the Brewer High School Campus at 79 Parkway South.

Heddericg Field is named after longtime former teacher, coach and community member, Charles Heddericg. The field was dedicated to Coach Heddericg in ____.

Heddiercg field seers as the home for the Brewer High School Witches baseball program in the spring, the Brewer Falcons american legion program and Brewer Senior Little league in the summer and the Brewer Field Hockey program in the fall.

Center Street Gymnasium

The Center Street Gymnasium is located at 261 Center Street in Brewer at the Dr. Daniel Lee Administration Building. This gymnasium is the former home to the Brewer Middle School PE and athletic program. Since the Brewer Middle School closed its doors in 2011 and moved to the new location at 92 Pendleton Street in the Brewer Community School, the gym has served as an extra facility for athletic programs in the school department as well as recreational department.

In the winter months, subvarsity high school programming uses the facility to help ease congestion at Brewer High School. In the spring months, the Brewer Softball program utilizes the spacious gym to practice indoor softball while the fields melt from the winters snow. In the summer, Brewer Parks and Rec uses the facility to host their day rec program.

Additonal uses for the facility are:

  • Brewer Travel Basketball Club
  • Brewer Softball pitching clinics
  • Brewer Orange Chaos Robotics Program.
