Brewer High School teacher Jessica Fraser and teacher Colonel William Hardie, part of the school's AF JROTC program, joined Brewer students to participate in Ascend to Remember Patriot Day, which is an operation to fly flags on all 14 of Maine’s 4,000ft tallest mountains in remembrance of Patriot Day and those who died, served, and continue on from 9/11.

The group climbed Saddleback for a flag raising and tribute. A second flag was raised at Saddleback Horn. Brewer ascended to remember on two, 4,000 ft peaks in Maine. We are so grateful and proud for this act of remembrance of those lost, and those who serve.
