National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is an organization whose purpose is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to promote leadership, to stimulate desire to render service, and to develop character in students of secondary schools.
Membership in the National Honor Society is both an honor and a responsibility. Students selected for membership are expected to continue to demonstrate the qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, and character; which are the basis for their selection. Every junior and senior, whose cumulative average is B+ (88.0) or higher at the end of the first quarter, is invited to submit a candidate form with an essay to express an interest in membership and to describe their qualifications for the National Honor Society. Those juniors and seniors who have submitted candidate forms and essays are then considered on the basis of their leadership, service, and character, and must exemplify each of these traits.
The selection of Junior and Seniors NHS nominees will close on October 1, 2021, by 2:30 PM. Academically eligible Juniors and Seniors should check their school email for instructions and the required submission links. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Libby.
