Brewer High School Drama is off to the state finals for the second consecutive year after placing first in the Maine Principals Association Regional Festival this weekend at BCS.

Brewer's production of the comedy DAY SIX was the Class A champion.

Sophomore Carmen Bryant was named to the All Festival Cast and senior Bailey Kirkendall received a Judges Commendation for original music composition. Judges also had praise for sophomore Zoe Drake's lighting design, the overall strength and focus of the cast (13 of whom had never participated in a competition), as well as our set and costumes.

Brewer will now compete with seven other regional winners in the State Class A Finals at Camden Hills on March 22-23.
