The Great Kindness Challenge

January 26-30th was The Great Kindness Challenge Week! We focused on all the ways we can be kind to others. Teachers nominated students who were recognized with Kindness Awards. Our Third Grade team had a Kindness Spirit week, and reading buddies in First and Sixth Grades made a Kindness mural to decorate our hall.

Collection for the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter

In January Grade 2 put on a school wide donation drive collecting warm items for the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter. This week representatives from the shelter came to accept the donations and speak with second graders. They discussed the resources they provide to the community and how the donations collected will support those in need. Thank you to everyone who was able to donate!
