BCS is excited to welcome our new students and staff. We are officially ready to start the 26-27 school year on Monday, August 31st for Grades K-8, and on Thursday, September 3rd for Pre-K!
NEW PERSONAL ELECTRONIC DEVICE POLICY
In accordance with Maine state requirements, Brewer Community School will adopt new storage protocols that will continue to enforce a policy prohibiting student use of personal electronic devices for the entire duration of the school day, from the starting bell through the dismissal bell.

UPDATE SCHOOL FORMS WITH INFINITE CAMPUS~
We would like to remind you that the back to school paperwork that was traditionally brought home is now available online through Infinite Campus. Attached below are some step-by-step instructions for accessing and completing these forms. There is also a number to call if you need assistance.
EARLY RELEASE SEPTEMBER 23~
Wednesday September 23rd will be our first “early release” of the year. Middle School (grades 5-8) will dismiss at 10:50 am and Elementary (grades PreK-4) will dismiss at 11:40 am. Please communicate any dismissal plan changes with your student’s teacher.
PICTURE DAY~
This year’s school PICTURE DAY is scheduled for Friday, September 25th. Order forms with package details will be sent home with students soon. These forms can be filled out and sent to school with cash or check on picture day or prior to. Orders can also be placed online using a student “unique” code found on the paper form. The code expires 24 hours after picture day.
BREWER COMMUNITY SCHOOL PTU~
It was wonderful to have so many families stop by the PTU table at last night's Open House! We gave out over 400 information packets! Our first meeting of the school year will be on September 9th at 6 pm in the Library and we hope for a great turn out! We are excited to share the dates for our first few events and are looking forward to a very successful year!
