Ms. Hall's class has been learning about honeybees and why they are so important to us. They really enjoyed learning from Ms. Hall's father, Roger Reed, and daughter, Mandy Barrington. Students were able to try on beekeeping clothing and see what a hive and tools look like.

Dear Brewer Community,
Brewer Schools have power and so will be open today, 11.1.2019. The forecast is for improving conditions throughout the day. High school students from sending districts should check any notifications from your local school unit.
Sincerely,
Gregg Palmer, Superintendent

Ms. Palmer's and Mrs. Geaghan's classes held their dance performance last night. After 7 weeks of lessons, they put on a great show! Thanks to Brewer School Dept, our PTU, and Robinson Ballet for allowing this to happen!

The BCS Sunshine Team was able to sprinkle “sweet” kindness recently to new classroom teachers, ed techs, tutors, custodians, a secretary, an assistant principal, food service and to our hearing impaired support team. Welcome to BCS. We are happy to have you here!

BCS families: For everyone's safety, please remember to use the crosswalk on Parkway South where our crossing guard and flashing traffic control are located. Motorists, please remember to be extra vigilant in the school zone areas. Thank you for your help!

Welcome back... our first full week at school! Be on the lookout for students who earn a "Way to B!" sticker for going above and beyond, demonstrating that they are respectful, responsible, and caring learners!

We hope that all of our BCS families had a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend. This is just a reminder that when school resumes this week, middle school students should not arrive at BCS prior to 7:30 and elementary students prior to 8:10. We appreciate the efforts of students, families, and staff to make the first two days a success and we are looking forward to greeting students as they arrive tomorrow to start week two.

BCS is proud to be a pilot school for the Dirigo Reads program. Check out the news story from our press conference last week! https://www.wabi.tv/content/news/Program-launched-to-provide-all-first-graders-with-books-in-Maine--557900051.html
