Morning Announcement
  • Student Council meeting today- Afterschool in room 317. Mandatory for all class officers and we are accepting new members as well.
  • GSA will meet in room104 after school this Friday, March 25th. All are welcome. We will be looking for ideas to help us celebrate Pride month, as well as continue some other fun projects we have going. Feel free to join us even if you have not had a chance, yet.
  • Attention Juniors and undecided Seniors.. On Monday April 4th, there will be a field trip to the University of Maine including a campus tour and lunch. There is only space for 20 students, so interested Juniors and Seniors need to sign up in student services ASAP. Permission forms need to be returned by Wednesday, March 30th.   • Girls interested in lacrosse need to register now so we know how to proceed with girls lacrosse for the spring season.
  • Seniors vs faculty basketball sign ups remain open in the main office. The cost is $15 to play and you get a t-shirt. Sign ups close tomorrow (Thursday.)
  • Applications for the Kiah Scholarship are still available online. $1500 will go to one deserving senior boy & girl. Applications are due for review by the selection committee by April 13th..
  • Reminder to all Juniors attending prom with a guest who is not a current Brewer High School student: prom guest forms are due back in the office no later than the end of the school day tomorrow (Thursday, March 24th.)
  • Congratulations to Logan Pelletier, Kaleb Silva, Kaleb Westman and Michael Desjardins for their outstanding performance at the state instrumental jazz festival at Hampden Academy on Saturday. The group scored a 91 earning them a silver rating. All members received a 1 rating for their improvisational skills.
  • There is no detention today. If you owe a detention, you will need to serve it next Tuesday or Wednesday before the quarter ends.
  • There will be a representative from Maine Maritime Academy in Student Services during block one (1) this Friday for any interested students. Please sign up in student services if you plan to attend.
  • There will be a representative from Washington County Community College in Student Services this coming Monday at 12:45 for any interested students. Please sign up in student services if you plan to attend.
